Jasper is an opaque, dense, microgranular variety of chalcedony and other mineral phases. The name jasper means “spotted or speckled stone” and is traceable to many ancient peoples.

Often called the “Supreme Nurturer” jasper is a stone which offers, comfort, security, and stability. It is thought to help remove your insecurities and fears; grounding you, soothing nerves and increasing focus. Helps protect you from getting too emotionally involved with people or things which are not good for you. 

Jasper is a traditional birthstone for March.
