Thunderbird
The Thunderbird represents protection, power, and strength. He is considered the strongest of the totem animals, possessing supernatural power and credited with creating storms. When he blinks, lighting comes out of his eyes, and when he flaps his wings, thunder roars. He hunts and eats whales by using the two lightning snakes kept under his wings.
Eagle
A symbol of power, prestige and wisdom. The Eagle is believed to have the greatest connection to the creator and sends messages from the people to the spiritual world. It is a symbol of peace and leadership, the sacred down represents friendship and its feathers are used for ceremonies and rituals.

Sheldon Williams was born to the Raven Clan of Naglisla, Heiltsuk Nation in 1968. His interest in the art of his people began in his early teens. Since that early beginning he has created a wide body of work that includes poles, masks, paintings, blankets, plaques, chest, bentwood boxes as well as gold and silver jewelry. He is a skilled carver and his jewelry frequently shows unique settings .
