Lloyd H. Harsch belongs to the Stastas (Eagle) Clan from Kiusta. He has been working within the Haida style tradition for over thirty years, His artworks include argillite carvings, drums, paintings, as well as, red and yellow cedar wood carvings. Lloyd was influenced by renowned artist Charles Edenshaw. In 1996 he won a contest for a yellow cedar carved jewelry box, which has been featured in the magazine “Beyond Boards”. Most recently Lloyd graduated in 2018, from Native Education College’s Northwest Coast Jewelry arts program creating copper and silver Jewelry.
