Joyful messengers who represent peace, affection, and good fortune. The Hummingbird is a living rainbow that captures the sunlight and turns it into a jewel on its wings, signifying love, beauty and healing. This tiny bird is also called "Sah Sen" and is considered good luck, especially if seen before a major event.
Named after “iolite” the Greek word for violet, it has a strong pleochroism which is an optical effect where the stone has two different colors when seen at different angles in sunlight. It was due to this effect that the stone was referred to as “Vikings’ Compass” as the Vikings used the stone to determine direction on overcast days. Iolite is considered a “vision stone” it improves intuition, clearing thought processes, and increasing your understanding of yourself and others. It helps you to be yourself, letting go of others expectations of you. It encourages a calm and clear mind, giving you clarity in times of emotional stress, helping you find the best way to proceed.
