Gemstone: Smoky Quartz

Smoky Quartz is transparent and ranges from smoky yellow to dark smoky brown to brownish-black in colour. It is the national gemstone of Scotland and is associated with the Celts who colonized the area around 300BC calling the crystals Morion.

The stone in considered a strong grounding and cleansing stone; helping to absorb negative energies and release them to the earth.
