Born in Prince Rupert, B.C. John Sterritt belongs the Killer whale Clan of Gitga' at Tribe (at Hartley Bay) Tsimshian Nation. His traditional Clan Name is Tse Tsum Tee (Lightening).
Learning silver and gold smith from his father Art Sterritt in his early age, and studied at the Institute of Gemology in San Diego. After 20 years of caving in silver/gold, diamonds & gem setting, he becomes a young talented artist, his beautiful art works are widely collected by people from all over the world .
